This collection is more than visual art—it’s a sacred offering to the legacy of Black liberation movements and a portal into the future we are manifesting.

🔥 What Is Black August?

Black August is a month of reflection, resistance, and remembrance. Born from the struggles of political prisoners and freedom fighters like George Jackson, it honors the sacrifices made in the pursuit of justice and liberation. It’s a time to study, meditate, and create with intention.

🎨 The Poster Series: Symbols of Power

Each poster in this series is a visual invocation:

- The Raised Fist: A timeless emblem of solidarity and defiance, rendered in bold black against a distressed red field. It speaks to the unbreakable will of our ancestors.

- The Collective Silhouettes: Three figures stand united, fists raised. They represent intergenerational strength—past, present, and future—marching toward liberation.

- The Red Fist with Black Outline: A visceral symbol of revolutionary fire, pulsing with urgency and resolve.

- The Profile of Resistance: A lone figure, head held high, fist raised. This is the face of quiet power, of those who resist not for glory but for truth.

💬 Affirmations for the Movement

To accompany the visuals, I’ve crafted affirmations that align with the spirit of Black August:
