Unspoken Anthem

The colors bleed across lips like a silent anthem,
Striped in history, starred with longing.
Red whispering of struggles endured,
White singing of promises yet fulfilled.
Blue holding the weight of dreams deferred,
A canvas of voices—some hushed, some heard.

Patriotism kissed with protest,
A declaration pressed against flesh,
Is this freedom, or just the illusion of it?
Who speaks? Who listens? Who resists?

The lips move, but will the words be silenced?
Or will they roar—unapologetic, undeniable,
Speaking truths wrapped in stars,
Demanding justice between every breath?
